Necessity is the mother of invention. The idea of YSOP Village formed out of the personal experience of its founder needing to find information concerning a particular youth sports club. After searching the internet, newspapers, media sites, local schools, and other sources he was unable to find information. Years later he stumbled across the information during an unrelated discussion with someone he’d recently met. The sheer frustration of that quest started the wheels churning. When he later learned of other under-publicized organizations and programs that would benefit children and realized these organizations and programs could benefit from collaboration, he knew what must be done. After much prayer, support, and preparation YSOP Village, Inc. was finally birthed in 2009.
